The Stewardship Program is the fulfillment of the promise we make to care for, manage, and monitor preserves, conservation easements, and other properties for which we are responsible. A new property is accepted only after careful evaluation of its fit with our conservation priorities and our capacity.

Volunteers are essential to our ability to manage ecosystems on our protected lands. Our Stewardship Program, by involving Conservancy members, volunteers and the public, strives to help individuals and families become better stewards of both private and public natural areas.

A special focus of our Stewardship Program is to deliver quality programs and stewardship experiences to children and youth to help nurture the next generation of stewards.

Stay in touch with the Conservancy's Stewardship Program and Volunteer Opportunities through regular updates to this web site, our weekly Conservancy Update email newsletter or through facebook.
