NATIVE PLANT FESTIVAL – THANKS TO ALL WHO JOINED US!!

On Saturday, September 17th Six Rivers held our Annual Plant Festival and our Annual Membership Meeting. The event was held at Waterford Oaks County Park's new greenhouse facility.

We were joined by old friends and members as well as many new faces just learning about native plants and conservation. We are happy to have had a lot of room for educational tables representing locally owned restoration companies, Wild Ones, Oakland University's Student Organic Farm, Clinton River Watershed Council, and a special treat from Abundant Succession - a permaculture design firm.

Six Rivers is lucky to have Oakland County Parks and Recreation as a partner in many ventures, including the Plant Festival.  Our thanks go to Parks staff, commission, and volunteers for all of your hard work.
