Mike joined the Michigan Chamber in July of 2020. He has accrued over a decade of experience in public policy and government relations experience, working for several elected officials in the Michigan House of Representatives.

Before joining the Chamber, Mike cut his teeth in trade association advocacy, successfully growing a small clean energy trade group as their first executive director. In that time, he developed a strong skill set in the energy, environment and emerging technology issue arenas.

In his role as Director of Environmental and Energy Affairs, Mike runs the Chamber’s Energy and Environment committee along with several sub-committee groups including the Chamber’s Utility and Manufacturing Round Tables, as well as task forces focused on mobility, sustainability, and emerging technologies.

He is responsive to the needs of members and dedicated to providing a strong voice for them to decision-makers in Lansing. Mike understands that value drives membership, and members drive the Chamber’s voice and effectiveness.
